Hi guys

I just bought this kore 7´th doser 2 weeks ago.

I´m having some serious challenges tuning in the KH lab.

Every measurement i do, the result is not correct!

Every second time, the Dkh is 7 and every other time it is 10.
It is consistent..... 7 - 10 - 7 - 10 - 7 - 10 etc. It is very strange and makes no sense to me.

My water is about 7.7 - 8.0 Dkh.

I have uploaded new software for the computer and the newest firmware for the doser.
Pump 1, 2 and 3 has been thoroughly cleaned and calibrated a dosen times. It still not works correctly. The nr. 1 pump has also been replaced with a new one.

Another problem is that the program i use on my computer does not save the data i enter.
I mean the calibration number etc.
Every time I close and restart the program, alle the data has been set back to default.
So every time i start the programme, I have to enter it in manually.

I have been in contact with pacific sun, but they don´t seem to have the time to help me.
The tech support is apparently on vacation and is only back again in a week or so.

I was hoping that anyone on this forum could help me?

BR

Jeppe

Hello,

I would like to know your opinion about what waranty is covering.
Some of my electrical equipment broke because of a "short " caused by salt water falled down on them from Kore 7th. I identified the issue: it seems that tubing broke. The shaft of pump one is rusted, heavilly. Motor might be affected, too. I dont know...
So, i sent an email to Pacific Sun and requested a tubing (free) replacement and some other spare parts they may be considered.
Their response was that this parts are not covered by waranty and refused to replace the tubing.
Is not about money, i still have the old trusty Jebao Doser and i can use a 3 years old tubing from there. That tubing is a lot better and they even put a spare head in the box, so i might have a new and high quality tubing.
Is about principles ! Less than 7months, minimal usage (twice per day) - can be proved by logs, i think - and breaks. Pacific Sun response was that i should change the tubing as being a consuming (wearable) component. In a way they are right, but after 6 months ? No maintenance schedule mentioned. How low is Pacific Sun quality compare it to Jebao, for instance ?
Am i so subjective, being about my unit ?

@Rares728 - according what our service told you in mail correspondence - pumps heads, motors and tubings are parts which are wearable during usage. This parts are covered on 3 month warranty. We are using Pharmed BPT tubings - most durable tubings available on market.

Best regards

Thanks for fast replay. I mean here on forum and as well by email from technical services.
I have missed this information at the moment i bought the unit : i wasn't warned that i'll have to change the tubing at every 3 months. The best tubing available on the market....

Unfortunately, pump nr. 1 can't be calibrated anymore - probably because of shaft oxydation. Water supply malfunction is making KHLab failure. So, in half year of soft utilization, Kore 7th became a piece of garbage. Kore 7th (&KH Lab) has made less than 400 determination and broke. No waranty covering this kind of issue! But i have learnt from producer that I'm the only guilty for not changing tubings, motors and pump heads at every 3 months !

Good job Pacific Sun !!!

Hello,
I'm away from home till weekend, but can confirm that spare parts were arrived/received three days ago - sorry for late confirmation. Till now we have practiced different connection setup, network integration , Ph probes, but never have opened “the box” . Anyway, I’m not expecting troubles …
Thank you!
