It was featured in reef builders video review of reefpalooza 2018. Apparently it’s been in development for the past three years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I also saw it on RB. I think there's great riches to be had if someone figures out how to easily and reliably measure alk, calc, mag, nitrate and phos with a single probe or test! Bonus points if it's affordable. Something tells me this thing is gonna cost some dough.

I thought they said $700 to $800 and it can use almost any liquid test kit. I think it might already be in production Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's cheaper than I expected! I can't wait to see some reviews of it in the wild.

I can't seem to find any reviews.

at least one user has had issues right out of the box with one of their boards burning up after plug in, but that may have been a fluke. not enough user experience yet, nor how reefkinetics support will be. there are several people that have already received the bot and have started running them so we'll see. The posts and pics i've seen were not on the RC community forum but i'm sure some are coming.

There are at least 3 "automated tank testing" rigs in development. All have been in development for at least 3 years. All have been "about to be released" for 2 years.
Im not holding my breath on these ever coming out anymore. |

some reviews are good and some have had issues. The issues i've read were one of the boards burning up upon start up and the other was a users injection needle became bent up after running for a while. I think they are on to something with the Bot but it looks like some upgrades may be needed. I'm not willing to spend that kind of cash for a rig that just came onto the market. I guess a bright spot with the small number of users having issues, is that it's only testing water and not dosing. EDIT! only available through reefkinetics for now. coralvue has not received them yet

I have yet to hear of anyone that was "wow'd" over this product. All these testing devices still feel like they're in beta.
I think I'm going to wait for the Gen 2 of this ReefBot (if there is one) or maybe the Trident, if it ever finally gets released lol
