Rodi

I have two DI canisters on my filter and wondering if its normal for my last DI to be depleted first? Somehow I think I've got things screwed up here.

whatever one is first will deplete first. starts changing color at the bottom and slowly progresses upward

The DI that is first is not depleting first. Any reason why this is?

I've had this dual DI for years and as far as I can remember it's always been like this. Maybe I'll switch them around again

When u have two DI canisters side by side why would it NOT bypass the first and use the second since it's the last resin to go through. Again WHY would it use the DI resin in the first canister when it has to flow through the last canister of resin therefore using it.

The unit should be plumed- Sediment - carbon - membrane - DI 1 - DI 2.
2nd DI can be for a different removal. My DI 2 is for silicates.

I've got the same DI resin in both canisters.

Check to make sure hoses run in the order I posted.
Perhaps they got mixed up?
Doubt it though because hoses are usually only the length needed.
If they are correct then time to ask an expert, like Buckeye Hydro or Spectrapure.

Hoses should be fine but later today I will go and thoroughly check it out. This is driving me nuts!

I had this problem and it wound up being the resin wasn't packed completely from brs, which allowed channeling to occur, killing my resin down stream.
