Nopox and UV sterilizer?

Can you run a UV while dosing Nopox?

Maybe, what does the NoPox manufacturer say?

Yes, you can safely use UV and even ozone if wished as they only effect free swimming bacteria not bacteria in the DT or sump. This is not stated in the instructions but is answered at the Red Sea website in general questions.

I generally shut off my UV for a few hours if I'm dosing a bacteria type product. Don't know if it makes a difference but it seems sensible.
