FW-110 Float Switch question.
Edit:Found my answer. Apparently one of these was packaged in the wrong box. One is a FW-110 and the other one is a FW-110D. Both boxes have FW-110 on them. I didn’t know they had 2 models of these switches.
I purchased 2 of these switches awhile back. I only used one and put the other away. I hooked it up today after starting a new tank. The switch on this one works right away when the water level drops, but the other has a 5 minute delay after the the level of the water drops. I’m using them for my skimmers. Is one defective? I like the delay in the one, but now I’m not sure if one is defective or not. Both switches were purchased at the same time. They both work well it’s just one has a start up delay while the other doesn’t. Thanks for the help..... Last edited by Scuba Dan; 03/22/2021 at 09:23 PM. Reason: Found my answer. |

We had to get delayed relays for the big vacuum pumps in the shop so the electric bill rate was lower. I would say they are fine.
