Filter Socks
Just set up my 125 gl tank with a trigger 36 sump, it has been running for about a week now and was debating with sticking with filter socks , if so I will need to order more or go with a filter cup, would like to go with my best option Thanks

They are fine if you clean them weekly.

While doing some checking did find where you clean them with a small amount of bleach and double rinse , was also thinking of ordering some extra socks to keep them changed weekly

check out mesh socks. You can clean them easier with just a hose.

I got a pack of 4 pair on Amazon. I change them out weekly and wash them in bleach w/ extra rinse once a month. I soak them overnight in a bucket with dechlorinator then let them air dry. Been doing this for years.
