Question coral mounting help

Hi,

I have a chili coral I am trying to mount under some rock work ( i was told little light is the way to go). I just bought this underwater safe epoxy putty. I tried it and it is not holding well as the base of the chili coral has very very little rock. It suggest using a toothpick through the base as extra support.

Question is, can i stick a toothpick through the base of a chili coral with out any issue?

thanks

Try coral glue. Put it on the small piece of rock your chili is attatched to then attatch it to a bigger rock.
