acrylic help...nothing seems to work??

I bought a used 110 gallon acrylic. It was a bit scratched and hazy but I knew that it could be fixed given that acrylic is repairable. I posted a thread and several reported that MICRO-SURFACE was the best product out there. So, I tried it and things definitely improved. However, there was still a haziness and fine scratches. I bought a 4 step liquid abrasive set as a final step (Although I sanded the inside with the fish and coral in it, I can't use these liquid abrasives). Things improved again, but not to the point where people claimed it would look as good as new. It's a big improvement but there still is a cloudy haze to it and not a crystal look like glass. Before I ever had acrylic I heard it was supposed to be clearer than glass. Anyways, if you look through the side into the front glass, you still can't clearly see through. Has anyone had this experience before? Perhaps there is one last product I've yet to try. Thanks
