Which 175 MH bulb?

Hi, I have a four foot hamilton hood with 2x175 10,000 Hamilton german bulbs with 2x96 watt 03 actinics. My bulbs are 15 months old and need replacement. These bulbs have been running on a standard magnetic ballast. I am a little confused on which brand runs on which kind of ballast thing. Which brand 175 watt bulb would you go with runs best on a magnetic ballast. Thanks

are you looking for most PAR(XM10K) or a great color(CV ReefLux 10K) JMO

Yes PAR is part of what I am looking for. I don't want a bulb that will color shift on me too early. Will the XM's run okay with a magnetic ballast?

XM 10k IMO... Xm's run best on magnetic ballasts.
