help me pick a bulb for a M59 ballast

best bulb for a 400w M59 ballast?
Has anyone used these bulbs on a 400w M59 MH (regular magnetic, NOT HQI) ballast?

XM 400W 20000K SE 1________PPFD__128
Coralvue 400W 20000K SE 1____~____110
Ushio Blue 400W 20000K SE 1___~____109
XM 400W 15000K SE 1_________~____104
Hamilton 400W 14000K SE 1____~______96

thank you Dr. Sanjay!

I’m looking for a bulb to go with my new setup…

I’d like to know how “blue” each is in your opinion, I don’t like that dim look some 20Ks have.

What is the bulb life is before there is a major spectral shift or drop in PAR?

I was looking for 14/15K bulbs but some of the 20ks seem to have better PAR on this ballast.

I’m looking for the most PAR (in the 14/20K range) with a bulb that I don’t have to change every 6 months on this ballast. (have it already but haven’t used it).

these are going in Luminarc reflectors and blended with my 2X BLV 250w DE 10Ks on a 200g(2'x2'x7') SPS tank.

like this, left to right:
6500k 55wPC/400SE/250DE/actinic 2X55wPC/250DE/400SE/6500k 55wPC

Any help would be great, Thanks

-J

I Have the same ballast and I run a 20k Radium. It is not that blue and I have great growth from all of my corals; LPS, SPS, Polyps, etc...
