Specific Gravity
Hi,
My specific gravity is a little higher than the 1.023-1.026 range that is recommended. Im having a really stupid moment - do I need to add more salt or some plain RO water? Is there too much salt or too little? Thanks! |

You need to add RO water, without salt, to bring the salt concentration down.

Just make sure you are dropping the salinity slowly. You do not want to shock your inhabitants. Bring it down over a few days by taking out a few gallons of water and replacing it with RO or DI
