Sedra pump dead, what to do?

My sedra 2500 on my ASM G-1 died the other day. I'm not sure where to order a new one. I still have the old needlewheel. Can I just buy a regular pump and switch the impeller with the needlewheel? Also, what places have the best prices?

Chad

you can try that i am sure it will work, you just have to make sure that the needle wheel fits, why not just contact the place where you bought it from adn ask them for a new pump, try marine depot.

Seems like you could just switch the impeller....if not then try www.asmskimmer.com (though I think the smallest they have is the 3500)

I work at the store that I got it from but its like $50 to order another one. I was thinking maybe I could get one like http://www.championlighting.com/prod...cat=508&page=1 and just replace the needlewheel with the old one. That sound like it'd work?
