Nobody? Salifert Test Kits are tough to read. It says pink or red orange for ALK. I get a very light pink. On the calcium how clear blue oes it need to get?

After there is *some* change, (like a light light light blue) I add one more drop and read that. After I add that drop, it is a very big difference in color. HTH

Calcium and alk tests are both titration tests--- endpoints (where they change colors) is hard to determine exactly because of the small volumes we use-- I'd use the full color change-- the partial is likely just short of the reading....

You might want to contact salifert and ask them though...

I was a chemistry major in College--- the endpoint is typically where the color stops changing, not where it starts to change-- you can increase the accuracy by using larger volumes (multiples) of water, dry chems, and your titrating liquids

I would say that the endpoint is when the colour fully changes. Make sure you swirl the tube between drops and always use the same procedure each and everytime for consistant results.
