Skimmer Questions

OK,
I have been convinced about the need for a Skimmer. I have a space issue and have reduced my choices to two. (unless someone convinces me otherwise) I have been looking at the Red Sea Prizm or the AquaC Remora hang on skimmers. I like the fact they are narrow which would solve my space issue. I have a 46gallon Corner Bow. FOLR. Your opinions would be welcome!

Jeff

Remora. I've not heard anything impressive about the prizm, but have about the Remora.

Check the Lighting, Filtration & Equipment forum too.

If those are the only two options then the remora. Don't use the prism-CRAP! the pumps for the cpr (rios) crap! Actually between you and me for a hang on the back skimmer I would buy a CPR style skimmer from odesea or jebo whichever, better pump same footprint also comes in a double model. costs around 70. bucks.

The remora with the maxi jet is a good choice. Look into the remora pro w/ mag drive 3 if you want a little something extra. The overflow box can hide the plumbing and eliminates micro bubbles
