Tapping into that Hot Water Heater!
I have complicated plans for an auto top off system which will be stored in my garage next to my hot water heater. Here is my possible theory on this one.
I am going to setup a my RO filter to where the water source will be coming from the hot water heater( but on the cold side of course.) I will have a solenoid valve hooked up like a sprinkler valve to automatically turn on a couple of times of week to keep my reservoir full. I am then (without my girlfriend knowing, drill some holes from our garage to my den where my tank rests so I can auto top off. What do you guys think? HIGH FIVE or what>? |

Just get a float valve for your resevoir and an ASOV (auto shut off valve) for your RO unit.
