I just set up a TLF phosban reactor 150 and am curious as to what you guys consider "slightly tumbling" on you phosban media?

i set mine up so that you can see the top of the media moving around
alittle..it take mine 4 to 5 min. to fill one gallon jug per unit. i have two on my tank and as able to lower my phosphate to zero in two weeks. i used 1200g of phosban in 12days and got it to.05 then went to powaphosand got it to zero in 24 hr. so slow the better . they say to set it so the output is zero but i was never able to get that reading with the phosban but mt phosphate was 1.5 very high. when it switch to the rowaphos i was but is was at .05 when i did the switch hope this help you mj |

Thanks, that's about how mine is set. It just seemed a little slow to me. I have a small pump that does about 100 gph and If I crank it open, it's way too much flow so it's barely open now. It just seems a lot less that the 70 or 80 gph that's recommended in the instructions.
