Coralife Calcium Reactor
Are these any good? I'd be getting it for free but if it is prone to not working well I won't waste my time.

free Ca reactor?? If you don't like it I'll take it off your hands... They look alright, haven't heard anything good or bad. The reactor itself is a pretty simple thing, just tedious to make it yourself. I wouldn't trust their ratings on it though, or in other words I wouldn't put the 250 gallon model on a 250 gallon tank.

I have the smaller version and am very happy with it. I was previosly dosing appx. 60ml of b-ionic a day, and now about 50 bpm w/ 40ml/min effluent keeps my alk at 9.6 and calcium at 430.
