Endemic Species of Hawaii

Im thinking about doing a biotope aquarium to mimic a hawaiian reef. Could someone (especially from Hawaii) give me a hand in making a list of fish, corals, invertebrates, etc, etc. Compatability really doesn't matter since I will make the final decision after the list is completed.

---Fish
Yellow Tang
Humu Humu Trigger
Hawaiian Longfin Anthias

---Invertebrates

---Corals

---Misc

You have to get a Kole Tang, they are hardy and do not grow large.

Kole Tangs are from Hawaii? I had no idea. I really hate those nautical terms like "Indo-Pacific" and "Central and West Pacific" for example. If I had to get a tang it would definititely be a Kole. Unless Black Tangs (Zebrasoma rostatum) are from Hawaii

MMMMmmmm....Black Tangs....

There has to be more than that in Hawaii. What are some native corals and critters?

Here you go: http://www.fishbase.org/Country/Coun...40B&group=Reef

One of the problems you might run into is the fact that even though there are many species of butterflies and tangs and whatnot that are extremely common in the waters off Hawai'i, there isn't necessarily a huge demand for them in the reefkeeping hobby, so prices on those fish that do make it can be rather high.

Endemics would mean that they are only found in hawaii, things like kole tang and flame angel aren't hawaiian endemics.

Also, you won't be able to get any hawaiian endemic inverts as it's illeagal to collect them.

Now that is the motherload! Thanks. Anyone know of any corals found in our US waters?
