rock shopping
i purchased my rock /60lbs live/40lbsgood looking base from big als in newmarket ontario , the live rock was 10.99 lb and the base rock 6.99lb. It was a little more than i wanted to spend but it's only money right. Also it looks alot better than lava.

to kraze3...i hope to have some pics of the initial setup by monday and prepare for the helpful criticism that hopefully will follow. remember were all in this together.

good call on not getting lava rock!!!! it is volcanic in origin and may contain metals that will leak over time.

$11 for liverock? Is that in Candian money or american? Is so thats alot for liverock.

That was my thought as well. Pretty much all the suppliers I have looked at are between $2.50 and 3.50/lb.
