hitch hiker crab possibly hiding?.

hey guys how is everyone?. Well my tank is about 5 months old. I cured about 45 lbs of LR in the tank and the rest was bought cured already. Well every once and awhile ill look and see part of a crab in on the sand bed... for example. Couple of weeks ago i found a empty crab leg. Next week i found a empty Claw floating around. Tonight i found a large claw on the sand bed. It was probally around 3/4 of a inch in length. Now... do you guys this could be a crab thats already dead? or a crab thats molting.... im a bit concern because i do have a few corals and zoo's in there and i really dont feel like finding a crab munching away one of these days. All the parts i found where the same color so there either from the same crab or the same kind of crab. For the past 5 months ive seen no actually crab. Just claws and legs. Any input would be great. Thanks fellas.

I was wondering what was tunneling holes in my live rock for about 3 weeks, until I found a little crab one night while peeking around with a flashlight. I had my own little "big dig" going on...He was eating my live rock up. One day I was able to remove the rock out of the tank that he was living in and get the little guy out with a screwdriver. He was about 3/4 of an inch wide, Maroon body with white furry claws and nasty! I couldnt ID him, so I brought him to my lfs and they couldnt ID him either...so we fed him to a trigger.
Problem solved.

Hust around after lights-out with a flashlight, then get him out of there.

I remember when zoanthids were called things like "green" and "orange" and not "reverse gorilla nipple."
