need help with ozone
ive seen some tanks with ozone before and after, well,now im looking to purchase ozone but done know which way to go. how do you figure how much you need? and how do you control it or is it something you can adjust on the unit?
anyone who uses it or has that can help id really appreciate it! BR |

some ozone units come with controllers, others dont. so if you get a unit like a enaly, then you need to get a orp controller like a milwaukee. as for size, i run a 300mg unit on my 180 and it works fine, so i dont really know how to size it.

From what I have read, a 50 mg/hr unit would be fine for your 90 gallon tank. Models generally have a dial on the front to set a percentage of output. A controller is still highly recommended, though. The "Thumbs Up For Ozone" thread contains a lot of good info on the subject.
