Aqua Spacelight Owners

I am wondering what the owners of the 3x250 MH 4 x24watt PC Spacelight are using for there bulb configs. I am using 3 Ushio 10ks and 4 Aquamedic Actinic PCs. I am looking for bluer light. Been thinking about 2 14k Hamiltons on the ends and 1 20k Hamilton in the middle. I am sure most of you know that the Actinic Lighting section of the spacelight is weak so I am trying to beef up the blue spectrum of my light. Also if you have pics of the tank with different bulbs I would love to see them to help me make a choice on my next bulbs

Thanks
Scott

I haved my spacelight for a couple of years and have tried several different bulbs:

AB 10K
AB 20K
AquaConnect 14k
Hamilton 14K
XM 20K

Currently, I've settled on the XM 20k bulbs. Here are some side by side pics:

AquaConnect 14K, Hamilton 14K, AB 10K

AquaConnect 14K, AB 20K

I don't have any current (good) pics of the XM 20k bulbs (might have some good shots later), but they are the bulb I've settled on. Of the two 14ks, I think the AC bulbs were the best, but also the most expensive (as I recall).

Thanks for th reponse and the pics. I really like the look of the Hamiltons 14ks. I am still thinking about running a 20k in the middle.

Thanks
Scott

On thing I did notice about the Hamilton's at that time (it was about a year ago or so) was that they burned off a lot of their "blue look" very quickly.
