How much is the unit? The Typhoon III was highly recommended by many reefers, and I am glad I purchased it. It came preassembled, basically "plug and play". Uses the best Dow membranes, came with a TDS meter and pressure gauge. Check it out... http://www.airwaterice.com/product/1TYPHOONIII

Look on ebay for the seller "aqua safe". They have good units.

As a third option, "filterdirect" on ebay also has some nice units.

Being a member of ARC is worth 10% off on an RO/DI system.

If you feel you have to stay in the $100 range, the filterdirect unit at least uses a brand name (GE) membrane, and will, I THINK, swap it for a 75 GPD Dow for N/C.
That $59 unit by the time you add shipping is not much less.
Also, look at PurelyH20 and talk to Bryan Crenshaw. He's a LOT of help and very good at what he does.
