sub $250 skimmers
I'm sure this has been hashed out a few hundred times, but using the RC search function is like hunting unicorns.
I'm looking for an in-sump skimmer for my 90 for @ $250. besides the ASM G-2, what options are there? I 'm definitely not opposed to buying used, if there are some good ones that are usually around that used. |

For that amount you could even step up to the G-3. I think it gives you the best quality for that price range. (For under $200 I have an Aquamedic Turboflotor that works pretty well, but not as well as the ASM.) I haven't tried the newer inexpensive Coralife or Jebo skimmers that lots of people have been talking about.
You might be able to find a used Euro-reef in that price range.

I'm using a coralife super skimmer. Reasonably priced and produces a great deal of nasty skimmate. I'm very pleased with the skimmer and the results.
Hope this helps RidgeRunner |
