return pump question
i have a 60g cube 24x24x24 and i have a mag drive 12, the tanks return line is 3/4" and would have about 5 foot of head....putting the pump at about 1000gph. i was wondering if this would be enough flow. closed loop is not an option

Depends on what you want to keep. That's probably more than you can push through the sump. If you can't add a closed loop, then you can always boost total flow with some powerheads.

Should be fine. Euphyllias, GSP and Xenia are all undemanding regarding total flow.

That 3/4" line is severely restricting flow. Mags are flow pumps. If you want full flow, you need to double the outlet size which is 1.5" on that pump.
