150W or 250W?
Both of these pendant fixtures would be the same price, but my tank is 12" deep. Would this be overkill if I go with a 250W? If not how high should I keep the pendant over the tank?

I would say the 150 would be my choice.
I think you may have heat issues with a 250. |

Thanks. I want to get a PFO minipendant fixture. Do you know if the reflector gives out a great amount of illumination with a Phoenix 14K? I saw one in a 150W Sunlight supply fixture, and it didn't look as bright.
I was hoping the PFO 150W would be brighter. |

The Phoenix bulb gives off a nice color and has the best PAR for a higher kelvin bulb. One thing abou them though is they don't seem to be real bright to the eye.
