400 watt- 10k or 20k bulb
Have a 400 watt halide over center of tank and 2 150 HQI halides on left and right side. The 2 HQI lights on the left and right have 14 k bulbs. I had a 14k bulb in the 400 but the tank looked too blue. I replaced the 400 watt bulb with a 10k xm bulb. The tank looks great, but would a 20k bulb be best. Are 20k bulbs a bluer colour than the 14K? Anyone got pics and info on lighting setups with 3 halide bulbs. I have 4 vho bulbs, but want to just use metal halides on the tank. Advice welcome, thanks.
