Identification Request
Does anyone know what this is? It kills my polyps. I've even moved it to the other side of the tank and it zeroed back on the polups and starts sucking on them again. I went ahead and removed him from the tank and put him in another tank until I can figure out what he is. Thanks.

thats a sundial snail aka the zoo eater. im 100% on that not a good snail to have in the tank, as it will munch on your corals.

I agree with the above... I'm no expert either.. but it has similar color patterning and shape to a sun-dial snail. If you can get ahold of R Shimek's 500+ Marine Invertebrates to know.. it's in there.. Bad for Zoos for sure.
Sorry

Just like said above. It is definitely a Sundial Snail. You can tell by the unique operculum (trap door).
