I need to change my protein scemer for something better?! Advise..

For a couple of years I've had this simple hang on scemer on my 70gl. that uses an air pump and the 2 1/2 air stone. It worked fine but its got a leak and I'm tierd of changing the air stone (wood block).

I know there's many scemers in the market but I want something that I can put in the same place or close, that works withought a wood block and air pump, and is less than $200?

Any advise or better yet pictures of your set ups?

Aqua C Remora Pro for tanks from 75+ gallons. Greatest HOB skimmer on the market (my opinion, but many agree).

They use a mag-3 pump and do some good work. Plus they're reliable and can get used for $140 shipped or so.

if you have the room get a ASM g1x

An aqua c is going to run you around 165 $$$ or so as is good up to 75 gallons. An Aqua c remora pro is about 235$$$ for tanks 75 to 120 gallon. Real good skimmers
