Will these bulbs fit?

I am still building my tank.. It was bought for me for valentines day. I am having a hard time with the lighting though. It is a 65 gallon tank 36long 17wide and 24tall. This is becoming a hard tank to design lighting. As I am going to start with mainly softies and LPS in it here are my thoughts...

1 175watt icecap retro with a 10k bulb
(I figure later I can upgrade by getting another 175 retro)
I really want the "shimmer" from MH.

2 VHO bulbs retro running super actinic.

Now for the question will 36 inch VHO bulbs fit in a 36 inch AGA canopy (it came with the tank)? Do these lighting options sound good so far? Will the 1 MH be enough coverage for the beginning with just LPS and softies?
