Coralife super skimmer hookup
In order to get this to work in my sump I will need a hose coming from the pump to the skimmer body about 7 inches longer than the one included. Does anybody think this will affect the efficiency of the skimmer. Thanks!

I doubt it. I have 3 feet going to my skimmer, I just run a Mag 18 instead of a Mag12

So it doesn't matter the length of the hose from the pump to the skimmer as long as the pump is strong enough and is still the recommended depth below the surface? I have a CSS 120. What is the pump that come with it? There are no markings. Unsane, are you using a CSS? I didn't think those mag drives were needle wheel pumps.
