Red Gracilia

For you out there that have success growing Red Gracilia, what is the secret? I can grow caleurpa an chaeto just fine. However, my gracilia just seem to melt away. It was suggested that gracilia does not grow well in warmer reef temperatures. Mine water temp fluctuates between 80-82 degrees.

I tried growing red gracilia numerous times in the past with no success I tried high light, low light, heavy current, little current and the last time I bought some to feed my tangs I tried culturing some in the sump but it again it just slowly dissapeared. Then the other day I cleaned out the plate in the upper section of my overflow and found red gracilia that was growing like crazy I have no idea why maybe the high flow rate with maximum exchange of air and water combined with the very high light intensity I wish I knew why it can grow in my overflow but maybe give it a try.

Just as moonpod said, mine has only done well when it's tumbling and swaying around.
