Algae attack

I have had a huge explosion of algae in my 55g reef. I recently added some more ls. I cant take it out because my fucia plate coral needs it. There is some wierd lime green algae on the bottom(there are a few other colers to red, dark green, purply greenish coleres. I think i will get an algae blenny or a sand sifting goby. Please tell me how to fix this.

My similar experiences were cured by 4 things: (a) introduce a pure herboviore like ocean surgeon or doctorfish or some other grazer, (b) less light as more than 5-6 hours of full bright light is not natural thus have some start later and cut out earlier, (c) less food as you might be over feeding, and lastly but most important (d) nightly cleanup crew is needed, like hermit crabs, coral crabs, or other cleaners.

Fighting conch is good for the sand. They work non-stop, and seem pretty general in their taste---they'll also help clean detritus.
