Trumpet Coral Help?

I just bought a sweet little fluerescent green trumpet coral and I was wondering about care for it. It is 2 little polyps on a stem that is about 2" long. I stuck the stem in a hole in the rock and the polyps are not facing directly up at the light but at a slight angle. Will this be ok and also should the polyps get down deeper so they are laying flat on a rock so they can spread out. I'm afraid with them 2" off the rock they won't be able to send new polyps on to the rocks. Any other tips for their care would helpful? I'll try to put pics up as soon as the lights come on in my tank.

Trumpet coral

Just stick the coral into your rockwork and you'll be fine. Trumpet corals are a hardy coral and spread by branching out from the head. Over time each head will split and become two. They will also accept meaty foods, and this may speed their growth. At night or early in the morning they tend to have feeding tentacles out; this is a great time to feed them.

Here's a pic of these guys. They look pretty healthy but I don't know if I have them in a good spot.
