Bulkhead out of the sump - slip or threaded?
I got a 1 inch threaded bulkhead for the sump drain to the pump, but the fittings I picked up at HD don't seem to fully fit inside and they are almost impossible to get back out. So I was thinking just to get a slip and glue the PVC pipe.
Does it make a difference? Also I got ball valves, unions, ellbows, 90's at HD, should I return those and get Schedule 80 from Savko instead. |

That's what I was thinking too.
Any comments on Sch 80 vs Sch 40?
