K spectrum
I currently have four 24 watt on top of my nano and would like to go from two 10000k/ two actinic to 3 actinic and one 10000k. Would the coral receive enough light, would this be limiting their growth rate? I am primarily only interested in zoanthids and the actinic really brings out some nice glow. Thanks

As long as you have enough spectrum from a daylight bulb to get down to the bottom of the tank you will be fine. Zoos dont need as much light as other corals, they are on the low side with lighting anyway.

so do they get their necessary photosynthesis requirement from the 10000 and not the actinic?

Another option might be to go to 1 10k, 2 Actinic, and one aquablue or Blue+ (this will add in more blue light, but also support some photosynthesis)
Or you could do 1 10k, 1 50/50, and 2 Actinic.
