so lost....

so i was going to get the PFO mini pendant, 250 watt HQI DE, driven by the icecap ballast... however, i have been seeing a lot of good information on the lumenarc reflectors with SE bulbs... which one would be better for a sps only tank? I am looking for intensity and better coloration....please give me some advice.... i know there are a ton of lighting experts out there....thanks...

DE would be more intense--i don't know how to judge reflectors, but i would get DE.

what makes you say that? (just wondering) i thought i was reading that since you have the UV shield on the DE pendants, that you lose a lot of intensity right there... and with the lumenarc being the best reflector on the market, that a SE 10k 250 watt XM bulb would be more intense.... anyone have any thoughts?

There is an equipment forum:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/fo...s=&forumid=212

That's the first time I tried inserting a link, hope it worked. If not, General Interest Forums ---> Lighting, Filtration, Other equipment.
