Noisey over flow box

I have a built in overflow box. Is there anything to do to cut down the noise? Can I put rocks in there or something?

Sounds like you are in need of a standpipe. They are very easy to build http://www.dursostandpipes.com/

Thanks for the link. How did you measure the bulkhead? I have no clue what size I need. Do you measure the circumference or top to bottom of the hole?
