MH burn in time

I just bought a 150 watt 10000k MH unit Japanese make (dazs octopus) with an osram ballast.
The light is not as bright as I expected and not as bright as my 4x 36 wat pcs. I got the light 4 days ago and have increased the lighting period by 2 hrs a day now its on for 10 hrs a day.
Will I expect to see it significantly different with the burn in time completed and How do I know if the burn in has been succesful.

After 100 hours, the bulb is burnt in.

You shouldn't get significant intensity change or huge color change, but there may be some.
