? about 33 cube without sump

I am planning on a new tank for a cube that I just aquired for free. I have had very good sucess with a 5G nano at work for my first tank and would like to have similar success at home.

I don't want to drill my tank nor take the chances with a siphon over flow. With lots of LR and maybe monthly water changes has this been a good solution for many people. ( I assum yes but don't want to invest without some feedback)

Please supply some thoughts on how much of a differance a sump would make with this size of tank. My plans are a few fish LR and some SPS corals.

Thanks!
