refugium options
I am wanting to add a refugium to my 29g reef tank. I want to have a hang-on style. the only ones I have seen are the CPR aquafuge, and the USA-Aquarium sold on EBAY. anyone have any opinions/experience with these? (PS - I am worried about having to actually build the USA-Aqurium model)

I have a CPR LArge for my 58gal Reef... I think the pump is under powered for this model. Very... very... little movement in the fuge... even wwith the control wide open.
I also think they need to be a couple inches wider... Rich |

I've used the CPR model and thought it was a well designed product. Worked well and I had 0 problems with it.
One thing I did do was switch out the rio powerhead and use a maxijet and I also put a longer tube on the powerhead so it sat lower in the tank.

yeah, I am sure the CPR's are excellant products. I was looking at the price difference - $35shipped for the USA-AQUARIUM vs. $85 or so for the CPR. but sometimes you get what you pay for...

The USA one, is that the one that comes as a kit and you have to glue it together?
You certainly will get what you pay for.
