airline x-rays

is it possible to send coral frags in carry-ons that pass through x-rays?

this would be an in country flight, nc to ca.

i've seen some threads that say they've done it, just wondering what the general understanding is...

LPS and Softies

There should be no problem. With heightened security all over the world in regards to airlines, the fish/coral shipments are probably radiated multiple times before we see them!
If it were a real problem, we would have heard about it by now.

I was told by the TSA that the x-ray for checked baggage was stronger than the carny-on x-ray. You might won't to carry it on the plane.
