Saw baby snail thread and got a ?
I've had my cerith snails leave eggs recently and now they are gone. I don't think the peppermint shrimp or cleanner shrimp touched them and I've watched the eggs for about a week now. I'm looking for babies but not sure what I am looking for. Do they look like ceriths but really tiny or just lil blobs? Lemme know, cuz i'm sure I have some somewhere.
Thanks Jim |

ceriths start out as a larva stage. as they grow and the shell forms they will look like tiny ceriths. chances are slim for their survival. especially if you have a super clean tank without and algaes for them to feed on. i have had about 10 batches of eggs and i have IDed 2 baby ceriths. i have a lot of baby Collonista snails as well so until they wonder onto the front glass its impossible to tell which they are. i even have some baby nassarius snails but their shells stay white, where the ceriths will be dark.
