can I put a needlewheel pump on a remora pro skimmer?

I have a remora pro, which has the stock mag 3 pump. I was wondering if I could boost it's performance with some type of needlewheel pump...not sure, as it is an injection skimmer, but would that matter?
If so, what pump could I use? Anyone out there ever done this before?
I already know many people use the mag 5 or even 7 size pumps as an upgrade, but I was just curious to know if the needlewheel pump would even be an option.

Nope. Unless you want to get rid of the Remora injector altogether but then what does that leave you? Basically a box with baffles... Sounds like a CPR BakPak? You can either upgrade to a Mag 5 or 7 Or gte a needlewheel skimmer.
