Porcelin crab cause anemone shrinking?

I just bought a porcelin anemone crab, upon introduce to the tank, it immediately found my RBTA and hide in there. The problem is the anemone is shrink to half of it's size before the crab. I didn't see crab picking it, but anemone feel disturb and did not expand fully.

Is this normal? should I remove the crab? crab is about 1" and anemone 5" upon full expand.

Give it some time. The anemone should acclimate to the precense of the crab. I have a porcelain crab in my anemone. It just clings to the anemone to filter feed and doesn't hurt it.

It's probably just getting used to the crab. Kind of like when a clown decides to host, it needs time to get used to the new intruder.

how long does it need to back to it's normal size, it's still shrink after 1 day.
