Aqua Cool Bulbs??

Anyone tried the MH Aqua Cool Lamps 14k bulbs? They claim 23000 lumens on magnetic ballast for around $45. Seems too good to be true, just wanted some feedback before I buy.

A friend of mine has them. Too blue for his liking, even w/2x10,000K VHOs, but the coralline algae is growing exceptionally well where they are growing outward like sheets of paper. Lost a few coral in changing from 10,000K XMs to 14,000K Aqua Cools but it's nothing due to light changes as he discovered that it's from another cause which is quite embarassing...LOL.

Not a bad light if you like the blue. I think I have the color comparison in my gallery. Djtodd here has the same light as well. Hope it was OK to mention you here djtodd .
