Crappy CPR Skimmer
I have had this skimmer for a #of years and now its got to go!My tank is 45 gallons,so whatb would be a good choice?I also have to watch my pennies and keep it around $150 or so.

which skimmer do you have? I too have a CPR skimmer I recently bought for myn 40 Breeder and it has been functioning pretty well thus far. When was the last time you've cleaned it out in some vinegar water or something similar?
There are aldo cheap mods that some have suggested on this board. For example you can add an airstone (wood block) to get more finer bubbles.
