Calcuate water volume?
Hi,
Does anyone know the number to divide to get the water volume? LxWxH / ? = water volume. Thank you much. john. |

cubic feet to gallons, multiply by 7.81 if I remeber right
Example: My tank: 4' x 1.5' x 2' = 12cf; 12cf x 7.81 = 93 gallons (roughly) Divide cubic inches by 1,728 to get cubic feet Chris |

Divide by 231 if you're talking inches.
Example: (48" x 12" x 22") / 231 = ~55 GAL
