bright orange LR ID please....
I have this piece of live rock and it has a bright orange thing on it. It almost looks liek a sponge. But this thing has a few very tiny tubes coming off of it. Does anyone recognize this thing?

It's a sponge. I have a few that look just like that in my 90 gallon reef. The tubes are its inlet and outlet, and are how it feeds since it is a type of planktonvore (sorry for the spelling).

If it has clear openings, it's more likely a tunicate.
Do the openings close if disturbed? |
