No, they have very long tenticles. When they are fully extended (ususally early in the morning) they are about 2in long. It's really cool to see

At least this has been my experience.
I've only had them for a few days, but I see them bury themselves at night and in the morning but so far they always come out when the lights go on. I hope they don't dissappear, I really like them.

DUDE! I think you totally jinxed me. I came home today to find one of my wrasse missing. It looks like you might be right. That kinda blows. The guy at the LFS didn't tell me that might happen. Oh well...

That is a different type of leather coral. In my case, mine is being called an umbreall becuase of its size. I actually believe mine is really a toadstool, a very large toadstool. But even when I bought it about 8 months ago the LFS called it an umbrella too. If you are looking to get the same thing, look for a toadstool leather coral. Hope that helps.

I'm not familiar with the umbrella leathers but I am familiar with the toadstool leathers and have seen some that look very similar to yours. Unfortunately I've never seen one that was available for purchase that wasn't hideous. I don't know why I can't find a gorgeous one like yours.

LOL! Thanks! Yeah, you don't always find them that big. It was a great find and I'm totally in love with it. Good luck, I hope you find one soon!
